Biography
Mende grew up in Bend, Oregon before moving to California to pursue her education. She has been practicing in the area of family law since 2013. She is a 2012 graduate of the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law and graduated with a Bachelor's of Arts in Psychology from the University of Redlands in 2009. She passed the July 2012 bar on her first attempt and was sworn in to the State Courts of California shortly after. She is also certified by the State Bar of California as a Family Law Specialist.
Mende worked as an Associate Attorney at a Sacramento area law firm specializing in family law. While awaiting bar results, Mende was a law clerk for a previous Sacramento County Presiding Judge where her passion for assisting clients through what is often one of the most difficult periods of a person's life grew. During her tenure as a law clerk, Mende also assisted the William R. Ridgeway Family Relations Courthouse with both their Domestic Violence Restraining Order Workshop (DVRO) as well as their "One Day Divorce" program and gained real-life experience helping Sacramento residents obtain DVROs and dissolutions.
Outside of work, Mende enjoys visiting her family in Oregon and spending time with her friends who have become her Sacramento family. She is also an avid reader, loves trying out new recipes, and traveling whenever she gets the chance.
