Divorce With Respect
Biography
Katrina moved from New York to California in 2008 with her young children, a son who is now attending medical school, and a daughter who runs her own small business. Going through the divorce process herself, Katrina understands the need for advocacy of others who may not have knowledge of their rights regarding the various matters under the family-law umbrella. Katrina gained a passion for helping others in the community with family law issues such as dissolution of marriage, child custody, child support, and related areas. She began her legal career as a paralegal prior to attending law school where she earned her law degree. She worked for over 10 years as a family law paralegal with two firms in the Counties of Sacramento and Placer.
Katrina received her Juris Doctorate with honors from William Howard Taft Law School and has since made it her mission to pursue advocacy for members of her community seeking to bring resolutions to client legal matters. Katrina has been slated as an adjunct professor at Taft Law School for the 2025/2026 school terms. She has continued to engage in mentorship of law students at Taft Law School since graduation as well.
