Biography
A native Oregonian, Katharine grew up in Southern Oregon. She graduated from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and minor in Music in 2009. After completing her bachelor's degree Katharine went directly to the University of Oregon School of Law and earned her Juris Doctor in 2012.
While in law school Katharine spent her time focusing on family and criminal law. She gained experienced in court proceedings while working for the District Attorney's office as a certified law student representing the State of Oregon in prosecuting possession offenses. The following semester she spent time writing and assisting in the Lane County Courthouse as a judicial extern for the Honorable Debra K. Vogt. In her final semester of law school Katharine was an intern at Legal Aid working with clients on family law and domestic violence cases.
After finishing law school Katharine moved to California and joined the California Bar in 2016. Since that time Katharine has worked exclusively in family law. She has worked as an associate attorney in Roseville, California as well as a solo practitioner in Folsom, California prior to joining Bartholomew and Wasznicky LLP in September 2019.
Katharine spends time volunteering at One Day Divorce in Sacramento County. She is a member of the Sacramento Collaborative Practice Group.
