Robert is originally from the Bay Area. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a major in Government. While at Notre Dame, Robert participated in the Latin American research and analysis program and authored the publication "Examining Chile's History of Political Stability in the Volatile Sphere of Latin America: Roots and Origins of South America's Most Stable Nation". Robert was also a columnist for the school's newspaper "The Observer" and was a disc jockey for their radio station.

Upon graduation, Robert joined Teach For America, teaching middle school in North Long Beach for two years.

Upon completion of his service, Robert attended and received his J.D. from California Western School of Law in San Diego. Robert then returned to the Bay Area and worked in civil litigation until he opened his own law office, working in multiple areas of law including criminal law, bankruptcy, unlawful detainer and real estate litigation.

In 2013, Robert focused his practice exclusively in family law and most recently worked representing survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in South Lake Tahoe before joining Bartholomew & Wasznicky LLP. Robert was responsible for the Live Violence Free legal department in South Lake Tahoe providing services to an average of 112 survivors of domestic violence or sexual assault per year. In addition, Robert coordinated with advocacy groups and outreach programs to best meet the diverse needs of the individual clients, as well as worked with community groups and other community partners to further the goal of Live Violence Free.

Robert's focus on family law has given him the skills and experience necessary to represent clients in all facets of family law, including divorce, domestic violence, equitable division of assets, child custody & visitation, child support and spousal support.

In his spare time, Robert enjoys playing basketball at local parks, acrylic painting, watching sports and raising his identical twin daughters.
