Ms. Bamberger, a native of North Carolina, spent her childhood in North Carolina, California, and Virginia while her father served in the United States Marine Corps. She graduated with her Bachelor of Arts degree in English at Mary Washington College, Fredericksburg, Virginia in 1993. She moved to Sacramento in 1996 to attend law school and received her Juris Doctor in 1999 at the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law.
